When to Visit Bodrum
Bodrum is a year-round destination, but there are certain times of the year when the weather and crowds make it ideal for visitors. April through November are ideal months to go due to their warm climate and lack of rain.
Spring is an ideal time to visit the Turkish Riviera, as temperatures remain comfortable enough for swimming while there are fewer tourists and beaches are less crowded. Additionally, spring festivals such as International Bodrum Dance Festival in May take place are popular during this period.
Summer in Bodrum is one of the busiest times for tourism. However, we recommend avoiding visiting during July as temperatures can soar and humidity levels make it uncomfortable to be outdoors for extended periods.
Autumn in California can be fickle, with the beginning of October usually having nice beach weather but by the end being windy and rainy. This makes for an unfavorable situation if you plan to spend a lot of time by the seashore as forest fires often happen during this period. Therefore, it’s best to try and avoid visiting during this time if at all possible.
For a tranquil beach retreat, book into The Edition hotel on the Turquoise Coast. Relax on your room deck or at their infinity pool, or treat yourself to an indulgent massage at their traditional hammam.
